Window Wise Trade are now recruiting for the positions indicated below:

FITTERS/INSTALLERS – SELF EMPLOYED

5 + years’ experience in installing PVCu and aluminium frames and commercial. One MTC card holder per team. Own unmarked tidy van and tools. Own Public Liability insurance. No criminal convictions. Jobbing to start with, possible company van in future.
Day Rate – £275/£300 per team, depending on experience with fuel contribution for jobs outside of local area.

SALES PERSON – SELF EMPLOYED

Experienced with proven track record in domestic sales in the glazing industry, own transport required to start, possible car in future. Must be capable of following job through from initial enquiry to completion including chasing payment. Ideal person would also be able to carry out final survey before manufacture of frames. Leads would be supplied from our website and from manning exhibition stands plus own generation through customer follow up for referrals and drop carding road after an installation. Also develop ongoing relationships with builders and developers for repeat contracts.
PAY – Retainer + commission + car allowance – Competitive with industry rates.

FABRICATORS – 2 POSITIONS

5 + years’ experience in aluminium or PVCu. Knowledge of Smart System and Reynars preferred and capable of all aspects of their fabrication process. PVCu fabricator must be capable of cutting, welding and processing, assembly and beading. Able to problem solve and work to deadlines and from fabrication manuals. Good timekeeping and attendance essential. We would however consider individual who has specialised in one aspect.
Hours: 07.30 – 16.00 Monday – Friday – £9.00 per hour, Overtime when available – Mon – Fri £9.00 per hour Saturday £13.50 per hour but only after 4 hours of weekday overtime completed. Otherwise at standard rate.
Pension Auto Enrollment – Employee contribution 2% Employer 5%
20 days holiday plus bank holidays per year. Days to be kept for Christmas shutdown.
