Over the past couple of years, the interest in our sliding patio doors has risen drastically and it is easy to see why. Are you fed up of a dark kitchen, do you want to let in more natural light, if so then maybe a sliding patio door is just perfect for you. The large panes of glass, the smooth operating mechanisms, the possibility of a flush threshold, these are just a few of the bonuses to having a patio slider installed.

Windowwise-Trade manufacture and install sliding patio doors. There are a few systems you can choose from, each of which has its own specifications and limitations, here are the specifications for a few of the systems on offer :

• Slide Mono Rail
• Slide 2000
• Visoglide Plus

All of the sliding patio door systems that we use have their own benifits, for example :

• Slide Mono Rail is perfect for those looking for a slimline profile (Slide Mono Rail is the slimmest system we use)
• Slide 2000 is similar to Slide Mono Rail in the slim profile it uses but can support much larger units of glass, it can even be used as a sliding window system if required
• Visoglide Plus may use a larger profile but doing so means that each door can be taller overall and can accommodate 38mm units of glass (Slide Mono and Slide 2000 can only use up to 32mm units)
